505 never published a vendor list. What is confirmed about vendors, four separate inventories, the one published pricing rule, and two free sources.
Nivalis Nights Ingredients Vendors: What 505 Confirmed, and What It Never Published
There is no vendor list for this game, because 505 Games has never published one. As of the September 29, 2026 launch, nothing official names a vendor, places one in a district, or prices a single ingredient, furniture piece or appliance. The pinned official FAQ does not contain the word "vendor" once — I searched the raw page on September 30, 2026 and got zero hits. What exists is a sourcing system: four inventories, two free supply channels, and one pricing rule with no numbers attached.
- 240+ ingredients and 620 furniture items are official totals, not a catalogue. Neither has been published.
- Four inventories: your personal one, your kitchens, your greenhouses if you have them, and your homes.
- One pricing rule: buy from certain vendors more often and you "might get" better prices. No percentage, no vendor, no threshold.
- Fishing and greenhouses are free, and what they produce can be sold as well as served.
The only official answer to "where do I buy", in full
Official source: COMMUNITY Q&A, March 31, 2026
The Q&A asks it directly: "How does buying, inventory, and item delivery work?" The whole answer is two sentences. "Across the different districts, you'll find all kinds of vendors offering a wide range of goods, from cooking ingredients to furniture." And: "You'll have access to multiple inventories: your personal one, your kitchens, your greenhouses if you have them, and of course your homes."
Notice what is missing. The question covered buying, inventory and delivery; the answer gives buying one clause and inventory one list. Delivery is never mentioned again by 505 — not in the Q&A, not in the official FAQ. It was asked for and never written.
Four inventories, and the rules 505 did not give them
| Inventory | What 505 says | What fills it |
|---|---|---|
| Your personal one | Named in the Q&A, never defined. No capacity, no contents, no rules | The bag you shop with. A launch-day review says the first restock will not complete unless you overbuy, "because your cook is using ingredients while you shop" |
| Your kitchens | "Keeping your fridges and freezers stocked is an important part of making them a success" (FAQ) | Market purchases, produce, catch |
| Your greenhouses | "plant and harvest all types of produce, which you can use in your own restaurants or sell on the market" (FAQ) | Seeds and machinery from vendors |
| Your homes | "of course your homes" (Q&A) | Furniture and accessories, per the August 2025 community blog |
Four containers exist. No capacity numbers, no transfer rules, no per-location limits, no restock timer.

Three ways to stock a kitchen, two of them free
Official source: Nivalis Nights is out now!, September 29, 2026
The launch announcement states the three channels: "Source ingredients from local markets, grow your own produce, or serve up your very own catch of the day straight from the sea."
Only the first costs money. The fishing guide covers the catch, the greenhouse guide the growing, and both double as income — the FAQ calls fishing "a good way to earn extra money by selling it on the market."
The FAQ's only two uses of "market" are both about selling. Greenhouse machinery is "purchased from different vendors around the city, each catering to a specific purpose," per the March 2025 community blog, while seeds are something you "acquire" — never said from whom, another gap the cooking and recipe guide flags.
The one pricing rule, and the market sentence beside it
Official source: COMMUNITY Q&A, March 31, 2026
The entirety of the official pricing documentation, in context: "Business relationships can also impact your experience economically and open up new opportunities. For example, buying more often from certain vendors might get you better prices."
It is attached to relationships, not to markets. No percentage, no qualifying vendor, no definition of "more often", no floor on how much better, no per-vendor or account-wide scope — confirmed mechanic, unconfirmed magnitude.
Two paragraphs later sits the only other official sentence touching markets: "Certain events can also affect how some markets behave, and keeping an eye on that can help you make smarter decisions." No event is named. Earlier, the January 2025 community blog said "the start of the fishing season or a sudden drought could influence the availability (and therefore the price) of various goods on the market" — a pre-release intention, not a launch rule.
Names, district locations, unit prices and stock caps are all unpublished as of September 30, 2026. I checked the store page, the full official announcement feed, the March 2026 Q&A and the FAQ. Every "where to buy X" list ranking for this game is a guess, another game's vendors, or a copy of one.
What launch-day players actually ran into
Real Steam reviews from the official reviews API on September 30, 2026, with helpful votes as they stood that day.
- 31 votes, Sept 30: "There are vast amounts of ingredients, furniture, restaurant equipment from so many vendors to track down." Same reviewer, on navigation: "no mini-map, but quests are directionally marked as you move around."
- 8 votes, Sept 29, 17:18 UTC: "the first mission to buy ingredients is very obtuse, I do not know who sells Ramen, but they are not in the same place as the butcher and grocer." Your search, written down on launch night.
- 2 votes, Sept 29, 22:55 UTC: "Only issue though I just can not find yogurt for the life of me lol."
- 6 votes, Sept 29: "at least 30 minutes of my play time trying to just figure out where to buy a painting."
- 2 votes, Sept 29: a ramen vendor "only had 2 fresh ramen, and 2 that expired in 2 days," and a save-reload left him with more. The same player's target climbed as they bought: "I bought 5, and now I had 5/7."
- 1 vote, German, Sept 30: "Hospitality lvl 2 says I can now hold a tray. What tray? Where can I buy it?" The player is not sure the tray is even an object — the undocumented gear question.
Two reviews independently name a grocer and a butcher — the only corroboration either has. In 500 reviews, no player named a vendor or published a district.
The only method that works: sweep, then delegate
Since the data does not exist in writing, the confirmed path is spatial: the Q&A puts vendors "across the different districts" of a city "divided into large, detailed districts" with loading screens between them, so a district-by-district walk is the discovery loop everything else is built on.
Tracked quests are "directionally marked as you move around" (31 votes), pointing you at a district even without a local map. Whether a local map exists is what players contradict: the 31-vote reviewer says "no mini-map," a 6-vote reviewer says they may have missed it and calls what is there a fast-travel map between areas. Assume the first, and read the map and districts guide first.
The April 2025 community devlog says managers become hireable at venue level 3 and handle "restocking ingredients across your locations." A launch-day player confirms it: stocking the noodle shop is "slightly tedious with a bit of running back and forth," but manageable "once you get the manager to restock your goods." It is no magic fix — one player still could not get a purchase through. See what breaks in the manager and staff guide.
What has never been published
| Missing item | Status as of 2026-09-30 | Checked in |
|---|---|---|
| Vendor names and districts | Never published | Store page, full announcement feed, Q&A, FAQ |
| Unit prices | Never published | Same four sources |
| Stock caps and restock timing | Never published; one player reports finite stock | Reviews API, 500 reviews |
| The 240+ ingredient list | Total only | May 2026 devlog |
| The 620-item furniture list | Total only | Same devlog |
| Delivery rules | Asked, never answered | Q&A thread |
| The "buying more often" threshold | Never quantified | Q&A thread |
Both totals come from that devlog, and the context matters: 505 used them to explain an engineering problem, not to advertise a catalogue — "Managing the game's extensive content — which includes over 240 ingredients, 190 meals, 100 quests, and 620 furniture items — presents significant demands for both performance and readability." The apartments and decorating guide covers what those 620 pieces are for, the only published context for that number.
Read every row as "not yet": 505 has said it will keep updating the game on player feedback, and a vendor list would be the first thing to change here.
FAQ
Is there a list of vendors in Nivalis Nights? No. The only official statement is that vendors exist "across the different districts."
Where do I buy ramen ingredients? Nobody has published it. The 8-vote launch-night review says the ramen seller is not co-located with the butcher and grocer. Walk districts, or let a manager restock.
Why can't I find one specific ingredient? One player "can not find yogurt for the life of me"; another spent 30 minutes looking for a painting. With no vendor filter, map marker or cross-vendor search, that is the expected failure mode.
Do vendors restock? Undocumented. One player reports two fresh ramen portions and two expiring in two days, more after a save and reload — save-scumming, not a restock rule.
Do prices drop if I buy often? That is the only published rule, tied to business relationships, and no percentage, vendor or threshold has ever been given.
Can I buy everything in one click? Not at launch. A player asked for "one button buy all to restock from vendors early game according to what's on your shopping list" — the list exists, bulk ordering does not.
