Nivalis Nights Console Release Date: What Is Confirmed on Every Platform

As of September 30, 2026, Nivalis Nights is a PC game and only a PC game. It launched on Steam on September 29, 2026, the Epic Games Store version is listed as TBA by the publisher, and no console has been announced: not PS5, not Xbox, not Switch, not Switch 2. Mac and Linux are off the table, and the only confirmed way to play without a PC is GeForce NOW.

Why the console question keeps coming back

The demand is measurable. In the US Google Trends window covering September 29-30, 2026, "nivalis nights ps5" scored 61, the sixth-highest of 27 terms in the export, well above "nivalis nights release date" at 20 and "nivalis nights price" at 10. Xbox scored 28, Switch 27, "nivalis nights console" 26, all falling (-20%, -20%, -20%, -2%). That is a launch-week spike decaying, and it is why the question keeps arriving.

Autocomplete says the same from the other side, from Google Suggest crawled September 30, 2026:

Dozens of phrasings, one answer. The cluster is noisy: the Switch seed also returns "is symphony of the night on switch", the PS5 seed "is bloodborne on ps5".

What 505 Games has actually published

The publisher's game page has a "Nivalis Nights Platforms" block under "Release Dates". Two lines, nothing else:

Checked word by word, it contains no mention of PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Switch, Mac, Linux, GeForce, Steam Deck, console or VR. An actively maintained page listing only two storefronts is the best evidence of intent available, and not evidence of a console version.

Console: what the official sentence says, and what it does not

To the question "Will Nivalis Nights be on console?" the FAQ answers:

PC is our main focus at the moment, but we are looking into other platforms.

Read it literally. PC is the focus, other platforms are being looked into. It names no platform, claims no console version in development, and attaches no date. Studios that mean it usually name the platform in the same breath.

One thing gets misread as console evidence: the Steam page lists Full controller support and DualSense Controller Support. That is PC hardware, and a DualSense badge says nothing about a PS5 build.

Mac and Linux: closed for now, not closed forever

The FAQ answers its own entry, "Is Nivalis Nights compatible with Mac or Linux?", with a no and a promise attached: "This isn't something we're exploring at the moment, but we will let you know via our social channels if this changes."

Steam agrees: its app data lists windows: true with mac: false and linux: false. That describes the official build, not whether compatibility layers could run it. For a Mac or Linux buyer, there is no supported build to buy.

Steam Deck and handhelds: two official lines, no date

Handhelds are the only platform topic with two official sentences, often read as a contradiction.

The launch announcement, September 29, 2026: "As for Steam Deck, the game won't have full support at launch, but we're already working on improving the experience. We'll keep refining performance after release and widen the range of supported hardware over time."

The FAQ, edited that evening, widened the question to handhelds generally: "We are exploring several handheld devices and platforms. As we've mentioned previously, we will share more news about this when we can."

GeForce NOW: confirmed, and not a rumor

The FAQ is blunt: "Yes! You will be able to stream Nivalis Nights via GeForce NOW!" The launch announcement repeats it independently, confirming "that Nivalis Nights is available on GeForce NOW" after players asked. Two first-party statements on launch day, both from 505 Games. We could not load NVIDIA's catalogue page to double-check the listing, so search your own library first.

Where to play it today

Steam is the only storefront selling it, and Epic being undated means waiting buys nothing. On PC the practical checks are the system requirements, the price, DLC and the 10% launch discount, and what Nivalis Nights actually is.

No internet is needed to play, only to update, and there is no co-op on any platform, so a console version would still be a solo game, per our multiplayer page.

What would count as an actual console announcement

Watch three things:

1. The platform block on the 505 Games page. A third line beside Steam and Epic is the first hard signal.
2. Steam's announcement feed. Every official post lands there first, price and requirements announcements included.
3. The FAQ thread, last edited September 29, 2026, where the console question has a fixed slot.

Until one of those moves, nobody knows when Nivalis Nights is coming to PS5, and 505 Games has not committed to a console.
